Box of books

Different sizes of books, no problem!

A customer had written 2 volumes of his memories that he wanted binding.  The only problem was that the printed pages that were supplied had been printed at two different times in his life & were not the same size.  

The binding of the books was the easy part, but we needed to make a presentation box so that they could be displayed together.

Ian & Mick came up with the idea of fitting a block to the inside of the box so that the smaller book would sit against the taller one and be displayed. 

Once the books are safely in the box they can be displayed on the shelf.

The Volume numbers have been lined up at the foot of each case to give the illusion of the books being the same size.
